Fountain Hills Oktoberfest 2026: German Food, Music and Family Fun 

Fountain Hills Oktoberfest returns this fall for two evenings of authentic Bavarian-style food, music and community fun. Hosted by Fountain Hills Sister Cities, the 2026 celebration will take place Friday, October 2, and Saturday, October 3, from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. 

The festivities will be held at Centennial Circle and the Fountain Hills Community Center, offering both indoor and outdoor spaces in the heart of downtown Fountain Hills. 

A Fountain Hills Fall Tradition 

Oktoberfest has been part of the Fountain Hills community for many years and is recognized as one of the Valley’s authentic German-style celebrations. 

Guests can enjoy traditional German music and dancing, food, beer, contests and activities throughout both evenings. The celebration will also include the traditional ceremonial tapping of the keg, led this year by Fountain Hills Mayor Gerry Friedel. 

German Food, Beer and Entertainment 

Come hungry and enjoy German-inspired food, refreshing beer and all the flavors and traditions associated with Oktoberfest. 

Live music and dancing will keep the celebration going throughout the evening, creating a lively Bavarian atmosphere right here in Fountain Hills. 

Contests and Family Activities 

There will be plenty to do between the music and food, including: 

• Bierstein-holding competitions 

• Alphorn-blowing contests 

• Best-dressed German attire contest 

• Oktoberfest photo booth 

• Interactive Kids’ Zone 

• Local vendors and community booths 

Guests are encouraged to arrive dressed in traditional German attire. Those who come fully dressed in a Dirndl or Lederhosen will receive a voucher for a complimentary beer or pretzel.

The Community Center is located near the Fountain Hills Library, River of Time Museum and the future International Dark Sky Discovery Center. 

Tickets and Admission 

Tickets are $10 per person for guests ages 13 and older. Children 12 and younger receive free admission. 

Tickets are valid for one day only. Guests planning to attend both Friday and Saturday will need to purchase a separate ticket for each evening. 

Proceeds benefit the educational and international programs supported by Fountain Hills Sister Cities, including cultural exchanges and programs that strengthen relationships with Fountain Hills’ international sister communities.
